U.S. Foreign Policy Colloquium

Foreign Policy Colloquium provides Chinese students an opportunity to learn about the making and implementation of U.S. foreign policy from the experts themselves.

Established 2003; last held June 8-11, 2011

Congressional Staff Delegation to China (1976)

While a few staff members accompanied their Senators and Congressmen on Congressional trips to China in the early 70s, it was not until 1976 that the first group made up entirely of Senate and House committee staff members visited China.

Program Dates: July 26-August 9, 1976

Congressional Staff Delegations to China

Committee organizes listening tours to China for Congressional staffers to get a clearer understanding of the country's accomplishments and challenges.

Last held: August 20-29; next planned for late fall/winter 2011
