Emily Tang joined the National Committee as Travel and Program Assistant in September 2011, supporting program staff with logistics and research needs. Prior to joining the Committee, Emily worked in client services at advertising agency GREY New York, where she helped develop global communications for consumer healthcare brands, most recently for the Asia-Pacific region. She also worked on various business development initiatives for the agency.
Emily received her B.A. magna cum laude in English/Creative Writing and Chinese from Hamilton College, after which she attended the Tuck Business Bridge program at Dartmouth College. Emily grew up in Brooklyn, NY and has studied in China, participating in a language-intensive program at the Capital University of Economics in Beijing. She briefly explored the Chinese countryside through a field studies program with a non-profit whose mission is to support basic education in rural China. In her free time, Emily actively volunteers for her alma mater.
