Hu Di joined the National Committee in September 2011 after receiving her M.S. in Development Management at the School of International Service, American University. As program officer for education programs, she works on the U.S. - China Teachers Exchange Program, Chinese education delegations and the Fulbright - Hays Seminar Abroad.
Prior to joining the National Committee, Hu Di served as China Country Manager and Associate Director of International Operations for Africa and Asia Pacific at Global Volunteers managing and overseeing international volunteer service programs in China, Vietnam, India, Ghana, Tanzania and the Cook Islands. She also taught English at Xi’an International Studies University and Xi’an Eurasia University.
A native Chinese, Hu Di grew up in Shaanxi Province in central China. She received her B.A. in English Education and M.A. in Applied Linguistics and Education at Xi’an International Studies University.
