Sara Gavryck is a Program Assistant at the National Committee. Prior to joining the Committee, Sara worked as a Communications and Philanthropy Assistant for The Nature Conservancy in Yunnan, China. Sara has also worked for National Geographic and the US-China Policy Foundation in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Letters and Visual Studies from Tufts University and a graduate-level Certificate from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies.

Sara speaks Mandarin Chinese and also understands Kunming and Nantong (Jiangsu Province) dialects.
