Bridget DonovanBridget Donovan joined the National Committee in 2019 as communications and production assistant. In this role, she handles the videography of public events, and assists with communications outreach, podcast production, and graphic design. Before becoming a full-time staff member, she served at the Committee as a spring intern.

As a graduate of the Dual B.A. Program between Columbia University and Sciences Po, Ms. Donovan spent her first two years of college at Sciences Po’s Europe-Asia campus in Le Havre, France. There, she obtained a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in law, while also taking a social science core curriculum with a regional focus on Asia. She spent the next two years at Columbia, where she majored in East Asian studies, and at Peking University, where she spent a summer studying literary Chinese.

Previously, Ms. Donovan interned at the Yale-China Association, working with their photographic archives. She has also worked as a bartender in New York, a waitress in Paris, and an SAT instructor in Chengdu.
