Kate McGinnis joined the National Committee in January 2013 as travel and program assistant, after interning during the fall of 2012.  She has worked on the U.S. Foreign Policy Colloquium, CHINA Town Hall, numerous public events and has coordinated travel and logistics across the organization.  As operations associate, Kate is responsible for organizational systems and resources that support the administrative and programmatic needs of the National Committee.  In addition, Kate oversees the National Committee's Internship Program

Kate graduated from The College of William & Mary in May 2012 with a B.A. in International Relations and Chinese. At W&M, Kate was very involved in Alpha Phi Omega, a Greek service organization, serving as chapter president during 2011. In the summer of 2010, Kate had the opportunity to study abroad in Beijing through a W&M partnership with Tsinghua University.
