Mike Gallagher to lead new House China Select Committee

Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) was named to lead a select committee being created in the House of Representatives to focus on China-related economic and security issues, such as China's role as a fentanyl supplier, Chinese government influence over U.S. academic institutions, Beijing's state and local-level lobbying efforts in the U.S., and the "covert threat" of CCP propaganda. Gallagher, a former Marine counter-intelligence officer who has served on the House Armed Services Committee, has been a vocal critic of China's Communist government. More
