Director of Operations
Deanna Wilken is the director of operations at NCUSCR, where she brings over 15 years of leadership experience in operations, program management, communications, and development. She holds a B.A. in sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.A. in international relations from the University of Nottingham.
Having lived and worked in China, Thailand, Australia, and the United Kingdom, Deanna offers a deeply informed global perspective and a nuanced understanding of cross-cultural collaboration. Her international experience enhances her ability to lead diverse teams and support NCUSCR’s mission of fostering mutual understanding between the United States and China through educational exchange and dialogue.
In her free time, Deanna enjoys volunteering, hiking with her dogs, exploring new destinations, checking out different restaurants, and reading fiction.
