We are deeply saddened by the loss of our executive vice chair and long time friend and advisor, Dr. Henry A. Kissinger. At the same time we are grateful for his unwavering commitment to ensuring that relations between the United States and China move forward in ways that are beneficial not only to themselves, but to the whole world.

It is with profound sadness that the National Committee marks the passing on December 20 of a treasured friend, renowned scholar, and one of the earliest members of the National Committee, as well as a board member and vice chair, Dr. Ezra Vogel.
