Zoom Webinar | Robert Daly, June Mei, Matt Sheehan, Zhaoyin Feng

As mutual distrust diminishes opportunities for U.S.-China engagement, the National Committee believes that it is imperative to reach out to people in China, in their native language, to discuss the range of views on the People’s Republic of China that exist within the United States, and the history, culture, and values that underpin those views.

On November 16, 2020, Robert Daly (Wilson Center), June Mei (consultant and interpreter), and Matt Sheehan (Paulson Institute) discussed the many ways the U.S.-China relationship has affected Americans, and the views that have developed in the United States as a result. Zhaoyin Feng (BBC) moderated the event.
