Greenberg, Chairman and CEO, CHUBB Limited and CHUBB Group; NCUSCR Director Sheldon Pang, Vice Chairman, Freepoint Commodities; Stephen Kehoe, Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of PepsiCo; and President Stephen Orlins.

NCUSCR believes that open communications between American leaders from the business and civic communities and senior levels of the Chinese government improves understanding between the two countries. This meeting with Vice President Han Zheng is but one of the National Committee’s many initiatives designed to promote dialogue, examine the current challenges that face the two nations, and find ways to place bilateral relations on a better footing. Among the issues covered were China’s commitment to reform and opening, the state of the Chinese economy, the U.S.-China trade relationship, the importance of the upcoming APEC meeting, and opportunities for collaboration on health care, climate change, agriculture, and food security.
